Wine and food experience seminars will make experts out of wine tasting newcomers, as well as enhance the skills of experienced tasters. Seminars are offered hourly and last approximately 20 minutes. Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. All seminars include sampling and are FREE of charge.

2010 Schedule of Seminars:

  • 12:30 - Food & Wine:

This class is offered every year with different foods and wines demonstrated at each seminar.  This year, we will concentrate on pairing cheese and wine.  So come prepared to enjoy a tasting of the easiest party food you will ever put together!

  • 1:30 - Wine Reduction:

What is the purpose of spending time reducing wine for a recipe and does it really make that much difference?  This class will let you decide in a taste test!

  • 2:30 - Red Letter Reds:

Over the winter, it’s great to grab a Merlot or Cab to enjoy with a hearty stew in front of the fireplace.  During the summer, however, you might want to consider other options.  In this class, you’ll discover some interesting red alternatives for your warm weather entertaining.

  • 3:30 - White Knight Whites:

Have you grown weary of grabbing the same old bottles of Sauvignon Blanc for your patio parties?  If so, you’ll love the unusual white wines showcased in this class.  Let them come to your rescue from white wine boredom!
